We do not ask for your name, email or phone number, and the other person is only shown as "Stranger". Like every website, our hosting and database providers still process technical data such as your IP address, and anything you type yourself can identify you — so keep personal details out of the chat.
No. Gender is self-reported and we cannot check it. Treat the other person's gender as unconfirmed.
Messages are stored only so they can be delivered, and are deleted automatically about 60 minutes after a chat ends. If you report someone, a short excerpt of that chat is kept for moderation. See the Privacy Policy.
You are matched only with someone who is online right now and chose the opposite gender. At quiet times this can take a while. Keep the page open — you will be connected automatically.
The chat ends immediately, you will not be matched with that person again in this browser, and the report is reviewed. Repeated reports can pause someone's access.
